Course Introduction

Greetings everyone,

My name is Lilac and I am coming to you from Toronto, Ontario.

I am currently working as a secondary occasional teacher and teaching private piano lessons. Music has always been a huge part of my life; I have played the piano for 20 years and have taught music to all ages for 8 years now.

I am a two-time COVID-19 graduate, for my B.Mus and B.Ed. Navigating the professional teaching career during this time has been no easy feat but I am making the best of the situation, while working through this graduate studies program.

Many of the course topics pique my interest but I am especially looking forward to engaging in discussions on diversity and equality in school settings. I am hoping to learn more about administrator roles and leadership opportunities through this course.
