Project Mind Map

Please find my mind map attached. I enjoyed creating this as I am a visual learner and it was helpful to see how my plannings connected to one another. I am feeling ready to begin the research process now that I have my five categories to branch off from. I also felt reassured as I was making this mind map that I was pursuing a topic that I felt passionate about, and had some background knowledge on. For my online resources section, I was a bit surprised to find an abundance of blog posts people had already done on the topic but appreciated that this seems to be something that Arts educators advocate for. I am looking forward to connecting it all back to other learnings I have done throughout my PME. 

While I plan for my PD presentation to include embedded research, I am keeping in mind that my main audience is for Arts educators who are looking to apply new learnings to their teachings. Therefore, presenting my findings in a method that will make most practical sense is important. I would like to include some interactive elements in my presentation such as polling, so audience members can interact with the workshop in real time.
